Here is a lovely antique award pendant from the early Edwardian era, circa 1902! Crafted in sterling silver this English fob medallion features a charming design with a fancy shield applique, Celtic-inspired pierced work and intricate hand-engraved flourishes, enhancing it's character and contrast.

The reverse side is adorned with a hand engraved award message "C.A.C FIVE A SIDE 4. 4. 03.". There is also a set of English hallmarks indicating its Birmingham origin and the year of manufacture (year 1902), along with the maker's marks "W.H.H" from renowned silversmith William Hair Haseler. Additionally, it has a registered design number "RD 403258,"

A loop attaches to the top, and there is a good-sized sterling silver silver jump ring allowing it to suspend from a swivel or chain. With a nice sturdy weight of 10.46 grams, and dimensions of 4.70cm in drop length and 2.90cm in width, this medallion is ideal for jazzing up your antique Albert chain or layering with other favourites.
