A fabulous and chunky antique double Albert chain from the early Edwardian era, c1903! Made of solid sterling silver, the smooth rounded curb links elegantly graduate in width along the sides and is complete with a t-bar pendant and dog clips at the back.
Measuring an impressive 23 inches (58.5 cm) in length and a hefty 90+ grams, this necklace offers a bold statement on the neckline, with links ranging from 6.00mm at the back neck to 10.50mm wide at the side. Each link is stamped with the British standard Lion Passant mark, while the t-bar and dog clip are hallmarked for year 1903, along with the silversmiths initials "H.B" identifying Herbert Bushell of Birmingham as the maker.
