This unique antique Albert chain, dating back the Edwardian era circa 1910's, showcases a distinctive fanciful link design crafted in sterling silver. The chain features alternating fetter links and coiled bar links, complemented by a t-bar pendant and a dog clip at the back neck.
Measuring 16 inches (40cm) in length and weighing 44.63 grams, this necklace offers a striking high-neck statement.
Each fetter link is stamped with the British standard Lion Passant mark, and there is a maker's mark which is possibly "FWC" for Frank William Cole of Birmingham as the chain maker. Attachments are hallmarked for year 1914 on dog clip and 1911 on t-bar along with the silversmiths' initials "H.P." identifying Henry Pope of Birmingham.
